Deccan Farm Equipments History
Deccan was founded by Mr. Bharat Patil, after he graduated as engineer in 1987. While studying at the Walchand College of Engineeering he made his first Rotary tiller prototype for the college project, which he sold to his local farmer friend.
As demand from other farmers started coming for similar implements, he decided to set up a small factory to start the production of rotary tiller under the brand PUSHPAK for farmers in his region. Today, Deccan manufactures @ 2500 nos of implements like Rotary tiller, Hydraulic & Mechanical Ploughs, Leaf shredder machines, Sugarcane Stubble Shavers, Mini Dal Mill etc.
Mr.Patil was aware of the need of modern agriculture implements for Indian farmers, to support the modern tractors being produce in India, to increase the agri-produce yield for the Indian populations.
Deccan is family owned Pvt Ltd company, having sister concern company Annapurna; engaged in manufacturing of Leather Tannery machinery since 1964 founded by Mr.D.S.Patil. The Promoters hail from farming community, growing sugarcane & soyabean in the region.
Deccan have setup a modern Press Plant for the manufacturing of critical components like mould board etc. for the ploughs.
This ploughs and the Rotary Tillers are available for exports at competitive price taking the advantage of low manufacturing cost in India. The main aim is to supply agree implements for lower horse power range of tractors at competitive price.
The technical manufacturing staff in India have been specially trained by the German experts to achieve good quality implements.
